Satellite tagging to study Olive Ridley turtles’ movement
As part of its conservation measures, the Odisha government has satellite-tagged six Olive Ridley sea turtles at Gahirmatha marine sanctuary in Kendrapara district. Plans are afoot to do the same on three more turtles at Rushikulya river mouth in Ganjam district. Read more here.
