Scientists in Thailand free endangered sea turtles in the wild

50 foot sperm whale beached on sandbar off coast of Venice, Florida

Officials attempted to help a 50-foot beached whale off the coast of Venice Beach in Florida on Sunday. Officials initially estimated that the whale was about 70 feet long, but by Sunday night they estimated it to be 50 feet long and 50,000-70,000 pounds. Read more here.
