EU outlines new roadmap on marine conservation ahead of UN ocean summit

The European Union on Thursday presented a plan aimed at better protect oceans ahead of a United Nations summit on the subject. The EU wants to take a leadership role in marine conservation, and the plan includes ways to tackle some of the main challenges, like pollution, climate change and illegal fishing. Read more here.

Marine conservation requires international cooperation

June 8 is World Oceans Day, as designated by the United Nations.
