Taiwan’s nesting female sea turtle population reaches 3-year high

From January to July, 96 nesting females were recorded across six key habitats: Kenting, Xiaoliuqiu, Lanyu, Dongsha Island, Wangan Island, and Taiping Island. In comparison, 89 females were recorded during the same period last year, per CNA. The OCA did not specify which species of sea turtle, but the most commonly found around Taiwan is the green sea turtle. Read more here.
